Some people live their lives sitting comfortably on a beach; watching the waves crash and building sand castles. Some people live just on the edge of the water; occasionally drifting out onto the horizon, but never enough to stop them swimming back to the shore. And some people spend their whole lives out in the deep; treading water and trying to keep their head above the surface.
Out Beyond Her Shore follows the wild, wacky, whirlwind adventure of Cordelia as she finds her way home from the deep. This dark fairy tale ventures into the weird, wonderful, absurd and grotesque nature of life in open water. Will Cordelia choose to head back to the shore or follow the voices of the sea down into it's dark depth?
Naked Frank Theatre are venturing into the land of mystery and fairy tales, but this is no children's story. Fusing contemporary writing and comedy with the raw poetry of writer Sophie Pagne, Out Beyond Her Shore will tickle, thrill and frighten the emotions of it's audiences.
"...walk, keep walking, I listen once more, I zone into these voices..." Sophie Payne, The Monster In My Head
This is a fully immersive and subversive piece of theatre with storytelling that is to die for!
